Fear Forest returns to Colin Glen Forest Park for its third annual Halloween event, transforming half a mile of Belfast’s 200-acre forest into a live, haunting set for four nights of fright.

The Fear Forest Trail is the heart of the experience: a half-mile walk through the lit forest, where the trees, darkness and winding paths become the backdrop for terrifying characters, demonic clowns and sinister Halloween creatures. As you make your way through the trail, expect unexpected encounters and scare moments around every corner.

But the scares do not end when you leave the woods. Your ticket also includes entry to the Container of Doom – a short but dark and disturbing scare attraction where you will need to face whatever is waiting inside.

This is not a ride or a Halloween attraction inside a building. Colin Glen Forest Park is the live set. The forest is brought to life after dark, creating an outdoor Halloween experience unlike anything else in Belfast.

Every ticket supports an important cause. Fear Forest is a charity fundraiser, with all money raised going directly towards keeping Colin Glen Forest Park open, safe and free for public use all year round.

What your ticket includes

Your Fear Forest ticket includes access to both of the event’s main scare attractions:

• The Fear Forest Trail — a half-mile, outdoor scare walk through the lit woodland of Colin Glen Forest Park. Allow approximately 20–30 minutes to complete the trail.

• The Container of Doom — an additional enclosed scare attraction included with every Fear Forest ticket.

• The central entertainment hub — spend time in the Halloween atmosphere after the attractions, with hot drinks and tray bakes available to purchase from the coffee cart.

Please note: Fear Forest tickets do not include access to the Alpine Coaster, zip line or other Colin Glen activity attractions. This ticket is for the Fear Forest Trail, the Container of Doom and the central entertainment hub only.

Plan your visit

Please allow up to one hour and 30 minutes from parking to exiting the event. This allows time for parking, walking to the entrance, checking in, waiting for your entry slot, completing the trail, experiencing the Container of Doom, visiting the entertainment hub and making your way back to your car.
