We’re Recruiting New Board Members

A fantastic opportunity to join one of Irelands most exciting visitor experiences.

Colin Glen is one of the most successful charitable social enterprises in the country. It is responsible for the maintenance, development, and promotion of 240 acres of vital green space in the west of the city and as part of its drive to become financially sustainable has become one of the most important visitor attractions on the island.

We are an amazing outdoor and activities organisation which has something that will appeal to people of all ages and interests. Located on the outskirts of Belfast City, significant investment has created a truly impressive offering that provides excellent educational opportunities, state-of-the-art sports facilities, Gruffalo walks, and a challenging 9-hole golf course. Customers can also try their hand at some adrenaline-pumping activities, like Ireland’s first Alpine Coaster (Black Bull Run) Ireland’s first Trackman Driving Range or Ireland’s longest Zipline (River Rapid).

The role requires candidates with a track record operating effectively at the senior management level for a major company, public body, charity, third sector organisation or at director/partner level in a professional services firm. Through your career to date, you will have developed a strong appreciation of the general workings and purpose of a Board and/or Committee in shaping strategy and overseeing performance. Your commercial acumen and understanding of risk management will allow you to ensure the sustainable success of the business while adhering to good governance principles.
