Hear the story of The Gruffalo before heading outdoors for a guided walk through our deep dark wood to meet your favourite characters and even stop by our pumpkin patch, where you’ll pick out your very own pumpkin to carve and take home!

- Your own storyteller to narrate the Gruffalo story in the education room.
- Explore the characters of the book in Colin Glen Forest.
- Added bonus! Join the trail of The Stickman, another story from the same author.
- Pumpkin carving activity included – each child will choose a pumpkin from our pumpkin patch, complete their own design and take home.
- Babies 0-2 go free, but do not receive any pumpkin.
- This is a 90 minute activity.

It has been described as Belfast’s ‘Green Lung’, and is located to the Southwest of Belfast City Centre, one mile north west of Dunmurry Village, with convenient access from the M1.
